As soon as one of Spunky's chick made the I'm free Chirp Chirp nothing would do but for Peep Peep to get to it no matter that it had to go through stroyform so yep Peep Peep got put back into the incubator so more pictures of Peep Peep and the new chick cuddling up.

Day 18 report on hatching sadly when checking on everyone in their nest discovered a smashed chick still mostly in its egg under Limpy not sure what happened. :( fly free little angel chick until we meet again...
And checked on eggs in incubator and 4 appear to be in great condition so...
You need to either pur her in a broody break cage or plan on getting either fertile eggs for her to hatch or newly hatched chicks as it is very bad on their health to sit on nothing for long periods of time.
I leave on Feb 8th I will be back on the 22nd add 6 days to gather half a dozen stick them in the incubator and candle them so would guess by March 10th or so I will know. Once I have seen the development I will gather a dozen eggs and be sending them on their way to you. Or if that will be too...

Nods I'm going to put their perferred nest box back up and put the containment pen back around it and pepper their nest with plastic eggs my only question is how do I keep out one of the hens so they don't fight over the chicks?
