Yay! Got home from my class and three are out. All showgirls and so adorable. The other chickens are leaving them alone so far. I wanted to see how it goes keeping them together. It's just the rooster in there, the other broody, and two youngish chickens that are moving to their new home in a week and a half. The younger chickens stared at them for a while, but didn't even attempt to peck them. The rooster has ignored them and the broody is in her own lala land.
But nine is not enough. We're still hoping you'll have eggs to sell.
We're up to 7 chicks, with 3 eggs still under her. Only 2 are silkies, the rest are showgirls. 3 blacks, 2 whites, and 2 chipmonks. One is under so it's not in the picture.
