Good morning everyone and happy Labor Day!! It's been a while since I've been on BYC. I do not have much chicken chat to talk about today but I am looking for a pygmy or Nigerian dwarf goat if anybody knows where I can find one in the near Tulsa/Okmulgee area I would appreciate it.
Can someone please tell me what's wrong with this hen? It just started a couple of days ago. I just wormed them 2 days ago. None of the others are acting strange. She's a 2yr old Easter Egger. Let me know if the link doesn't work.
Good afternoon folks! Is there anyone near Bixby, Glenpool or within 25 miles of Mounds wanting to sell some hens? I would love to have an Olive Egger or two or three! I am open to suggestions but needing some that are laying.
Good rainy morning everyone! I need to find a home or two for 3 or 4 mixed roosters. Well, one isn't a mix it's a Polish. I know for sure one is a easter egger/blue orpington mix and the other(s) are black copper maran mix with possibly easter egger. They are about 7 mths old. Anyone interested...
Thank you! I had a feeling I was correct...lol! I have run across a few folks that say it the other way and I fight real hard with myself not to correct them. I wanted to make sure and double check myself before I said anything.
Good morning everone ! I have a simple question that maybe someone on here can help me with. What is the correct way to say and spell Orpington? I have come across folks who say it with a PH (f) sound and with a distinguishable P sound, which is it? From what I have read it makes since to me...
We got a real nice huge easter egg yesterday. Not sure if we should try and hatch it or see what's in it...lol The egg next to it is one of our x-large eggs!!
Oxine is made in Norman, OK. I had our local feed store (Bixby) call them and they are going to carry it now. At least it would save on shipping and you would be buying local. When I spoke with the people at the plant they do not sell to the general public.

Good morning! Hope everyone had a fantastic Easter! Anybody looking for Wheaten Marans? I have 4 I need to find homes for. They were hatched on 3/31, all have feathered legs. The eggs came from Texas that I bought off the auction section of BYC. The black one is a Black Copper Maran /Buff...
First of 3 Blue Orpington chicks this morning. Sad that I am not home to see the others hatch. I have some Wheaten Marans that are hatching as well! Very excited.
Thank you. My husband pointed out that on the new t.v. show called Doomsday Preppers a lady found a way to make her eggs last for 9 months as if they were still fresh, not boiled, pickeled or anything else. Not sure if I would eat them.
