super! how neat, i think i was a lil off on the date as i went from memory for the first time- stupid, i know and NEVER again!!!!! because i have two pipping already, a blackstar and a buff orpington....oops! congrats on your hatch! and good luck!
the buff had a prolapse, and i lost one of the blackstars that was born last night that had a prolapse.... didn't check the bantie, was just too sad, but another is hatching so maybe things are turning around...
well i lost the 1 buff orp, and a bantie before they were hatched out of the shell....why is this happening? any suggestions? am i doing something wrong?or were they just not strong enough? i increased the humidity in case they were not getting enough....
thank you, but i think i lost my 1 buff in the hatching...was in trouble, moistened membranes and no movement at all... there are more in there and they aren't due til today, but i have wanted them so bad, just really bummed...
well, i couldn't sleep worrying about the chicks.... so far we have the 3 banties, 5 blackstar, and FINALLY 1 buff (that i can see anyways) is pipping, and another bantie so far this has already been a far better hatch than the first one alex's bantie was put in a day after and is still doing...
