ducks will sit on chicken eggs too, just don't let momma take the babies for a swim...My kids and I built an incubator as a science project. We ran it for 3 days and it maintained a temp of 99.2 - 100.1, humidity of 54%. We found a local lady that has quail and she gave us a dozen eggs to give our bator a test run. 17 days and counting. It's kind of like waiting for Christmas, isn't it? If these hatch, I'm going to try some chickens. My ducks all sit and hatch their own so I don't need to bother with ducks.
