I have 3 Lemon Cuckoo Orps in Bator1
I have 2 Aseel and 6 Aylesbury Ducks in Bator2

and I just gone done ordered 6 RIR and 6 BPR Eggs arriving on Wednesday I hope

i hoping to win on ebay a hatchmaster 32 egger

but if not i can do it with both bators by swapping eggs in and out making one a hatcher and 1 a bator

wow thats alot of eggs

12 barred rock, and 6 bantam (hopefully cochin) due the 12th, 15 assorted cochin due the 16th, 10 guinea due the 19th, 12 sg dorking due the 23rd, and 3 more boxes due this week.
wellies, marans, ameraucana, and i don't remember the rest LOL. hubby forgot to bring one home today... plus whatever else dorking eggs will fit in the 'bators to fill the gaps. i might have to break down and fix the other one. i'm getting overrun with dorking eggs and i don't want to eat them! 2 doz sitting on the shelf, plus 8 cochin pullet eggs... and a broody oegb, i'm debating what to give her. might be the possible mutt babies due the 12th.

Lemon Cuckoo Orps are on my must have list!! So pretty.

I am back!!!!! I can start hatching big time again!!!!!! I have about 100 or so that I will candle tomorrow and put in lockdown. I set about 120 before I left and if my auctions does not sell tomorrow, I will probably FILLER UP! LOL.....

I felt like my wings were clipped..... I am FREE now!!!! I will probably set everything I want from this weeks collection since there is another trade day next month. I am not going to go crazy or anything..... I should probably set some EE too and some Olive Eggers..... I have another broody too....

When should I take the chicks away from the broody and let her get back to laying? Or just let them hang with the chicks till they are done. (when is that?)

I collect eggs from my BO pen for hatching as I love the bird. THe chicks sell so fast I haven't been able to keep any for my self! I wondered who was laying the very dark brown egg--the australorp. 120 is a little high--my LG spikes to 106-108 for short bursts of heat. Scary really. Good luck with the hatch !!!

my brother asked me what i had in bator a few days ago and i said lemon cuckoo orps

must have been the way i said it cause he just pee'ed him self laughing

gotta admid its quite a funny name when said in one mouthfull

btw i candled last night and it seems 1 Lemon quit on me leaving me with 2
