    Also, Pure Ameraucana eggs have a shine to them-mine do. Here's a washed out photo of their eggs-but their eggs are all uniform in color. They are not BLUE Blue but are a shade of blue:) My EE eggs have more of a matte finish to them-see the dull finish on the greeen EE egg?.

    I have both kinds and love them all dearly. I have an EE that lays the most gorgeous robin's blue eggs...stunning really. I never expected that from and EE but I got it:) I have 6 other EE's and 20 pure ameraucanas? give or take
