Pure Ameraucana eggs have a shine to them-mine do. Here's a washed out photo of their eggs-but their eggs are all uniform in color. They are not BLUE Blue but are a shade of blue

My EE eggs have more of a matte finish to them-see the dull finish on the greeen EE egg?.

Hmm. I need to post a pic later of my new eggs...we have pullets starting to lay and it may be my feed store bought "americana" pullet the eggs are really pale & shiny. Not even sure what color to call them. I'll post a pic of her later. She's bearded.


anyway I'm not going to take the refund (I know I should) but I informed her that she amdittedly sent green eggs, and true ameraucanas lay BLUE. I suggested she reword her ads as to not misrepresent nymore. I sent her the breed standard link as well. I also acknowledged that they would surely be gorgeous chciks as she says, but tht I didn't order "gorgeous chicks" I ordered blue eggs.

I plan to leave neutral feedback. Becuse even with a $12 refund, I'd still be out 16 in shipping for an item that was not as described.

I will hatch them and I'm sure love them lol...keep 1 or 2 aand hope the neighbor wants the rest, or sell chicks on craigslist

please post pics of the chicks when they hatch....my EE are beautiful...I also have 3 EE pullets at 20 weeks waiting to lay...
