Yep, Toowoomba is 2 hours west of Brisbane. The rest of the eggs were a sort of smashed yolk unfortunately. I am getting a 12 egg bator so I don't have, to keep eggs very long. It was very disappointing for us all. Waiting 3 weeks for 2 chicks out about 38 is not good fishing!! Restocked and...

Others said knock her head off!! :( I couldn't bear to...

Yes Kat, it was pretty quiet around here until the roosters arrived. We had one escape artist too, but we fixed her game, we got a wireless fence and that really fixed her!! Well worth the money and not many fences would have kept her home. Night night!

Love your babies!!! This is a new experience for me! We had chooks growing up, and while the kids were small, but haven't had them for about 20 years and I am enjoying them so much. They have so much character!

Hi fellow Ozzie's! Found you at last! I am in Toowoomba. So sad to read about the incubator eggs, it would be heart breaking! I am looking for a cross bred bantam hen to hatch fertile purebred Coronation Sussex eggs which I will buy when I find a hen! Can't wait to meet you all! Bye for now!
