I've got no idea so I'm all ears. I do think he looks more "green" in the neck than my IB juvies but thats as far as I can speak. So I picked this gentleman up this weekend at an animal rescue. He looks like he has some pied in him and compared to my pure IB juvies he is more of a green color. I have a Canadian that showed up limping a few weeks ago and won't leave. It's fine now but hangs out with my free ranging ducks. I don't pen or anything. I want it to be free to leave if it chooses but hope it stays a while. And another from today- RuzichFamily

Thank you! That is on the outside to keep predators out. My dog does a good job protecting everything but you can never be too sure she'll be awake if Mr. Racoon or Ms. Possum comes knockin during the night. I have been here before and posted but thanks! I don't post often b/c my birds are so young and not near as beautiful as everyone else's. I did catch my boys showing off to the mandarin ducks the other day. Hopefully I can sell one of the males this spring, that will give me a cock & a hen.- RuzichFamily

If you put a small piece of straw in a horsefly's rear and let go, he'll fly straight up out of sight never to be seen again. Used to do it while bailing hay or just anytime you could catch one in general, lol- RuzichFamily
