Myself, I would not wait any longer. I could understand pushing the session back a 10 or 15 mins due to the SISS, but would draw the line there. If the kid can't appreciate that your time is valuable, well, that's his loss.
I received my Secret Santa package a couple of days ago. Thank you so much Kraftyladies!!! We loved every bit of it. The kids couldn't wait to get their hands on everything and add to our decorations, lol.
Aww......lots of brothers, sisters, and cousins to mine...gonna be watching for some of those eggs next year I think they're just beautiful!!!! My black and 2 blues are from Mary also. I am hoping to be able to trade eggs next year sometime. But for the time being, I'll just keep swapping for...
Lookie lookie what I been busy hatching out this fall, SILKIES!!! Well, one in the background of the first pic isn't silkie. Let's see, 1 buff, 4 white, 6 partridge/blue partridge, 1 black, and 2 blues. Thank you to everyone here that has sent me Silkie eggs. Hopefully I can get plenty more for...
Lol, I got the extra incubators just for hatching out all the Silkie eggs I can afford!!! The ones I have are all still young chicks, but I have been concentrating on getting eggs from BYC'ers that have exceptional Silkies.....So far they I have some truly beautiful (and a few stunning) ones to...
<<<<<---------Went from ONE incubator that I'd been using for the past 3 years to FOUR at the present. (got the last 3 in the past 6 months ) Yeah, it's addictive!!!
These first two pics are of the OE/EE from the set of eggs Nan did send. They're 4 weeks old now.
The last two pics are of one of the 19 bantams I got last week. There are two like this. Full grown, and no bigger than my Jumbo White quails...What is it, lol?
Ok, some of you may remember the little 'mystery bantam' I hatched out last month...Oreo?? Well here is a pic of him at a day old and then a pic at 3 weeks old. I still have no clue..Anyone?? You can't tell in the pics, but he has some feathering on his feet. Not a bunch like my silkies, just a...
I have chicks hatched from Sebrightmom's eggs. Only 3 of the 6 made it all the way, tho. I was able to get to the 3rd one in time. It should be fine. No bleeding or anything. For some reason the majority of chicks in my last couple hatches are not turning into position. They're pipping very low...
Wow, I feel so stupid, lol!!! I went to look at your birds, and lo and behold---I'd already checked them out. And get this-------I have so many eggs in my bators, I forget who they're from, lol. I have them all marked, and dated, so I went and looked just now. I have 9 serama eggs, 3 sizzles...
Lol!! They really are yummy. Not hard to do, either. Just a little time consuming. I suggest anyone that likes pears and peaches----try those two. They're awesome.
Okay, I wanna apologize for taking up so much space with this post, but here are the butter recipes. Just so ya know, anyone can find these recipes in the Ball Blue Book Of Preserving. They have LOADS of wonderful recipes in there. Stuff like my ma-maw's recipes, and lots of new twists. I love...
