Sugar is cheaper in Mexico so I am guessing they will move production there... so is labor. I do wonder if the positions lost were not minimum wage positions really anyhow and it was long overdue.

Hostess turned down a buy out of around 500 million a few years ago and now is valued at 135 million. A mexican company is considering buying hostess... not much chance for union jobs there.
Q9 you're right not a very bright move for american workers. Maybe Obama will bail out Captain Cupcake...
I agree, I got a whole pickup load one time of outdated (?) Hostess products for baiting bears in my early 20's and between what I ate and saved out to eat later I really could not eat anything they make anymore.
