    bumblebeehillschickenfarm I do know he has some Bev Davis birds... yeah, mine seemed to darken up a bit after first molt too. I have yet to see my roo mount her. although they were sweet on each other for a while, he fell for my buff orp hen, and then my mixed hen. No serious breeding here...

    thanks for the info. those are very pretty birds and so different. Mine is lighter than yours but has similar head feathering...looks bluish, and her white is not as pure white as the second splash pic. She likes eddie vedder's into the wild soundtrack. lol. sitting here with me now.
