I had problems with our heeler last year but I think he is fine now, he got 2 Roos that got
Out of the run last spring. Now he actually well help me heard them up and I can leave him outside with them unattended. Mine free range all day.
I've been lucky so far this year. I have only lost one so far. Not sure what happened to her. Last year was my first year with chickens and during the winter I lost have of my flock of 8.

They are called super blue egg layers. They are a cross between white leghorns and a crested cream legbar roo. Supposed to lay almost as well as pure leghorns

Well I lost my silkie/ee cross roo today :-( he some how got out of the run and my heeler got him. He was such a cute lil guy. All the others got the wings trimmed tonight so it hopefully won't happen again
