Mountain quail are native to Idaho. I have cots, Gambels, Blue scales and Butler Bobwhites. I had very good success this year and am looking to get rid of some birds. Also need some Gambel and Blue Scale roosters to introduce new blood into them.
I wasn't expecting show quality but I did want what I ordered. I finally got disheartened with the chickens and sold them all except 2 silkies. I have quail and that is what I'm going to concentrate on. I love golden skillet fried quail and the eggs are good as well.
I ordered I think it was 30 Sebright bantams. Most had straight combs. Buff Orpintons ended up being white. Barred rocks were OK but had white wing feathers. They were good about sending extras. I think they gave me about 35 extra but to me they were all mutts. I guess most of these hatcheries...

Your plight is not funny, but your post sure was! Hope somebody from Dunlap is on here lol
Why is it funny?
I have 10 total. If you would like to come look I live in Cocolalla. So we are close. I'm on Geenen Rd off the loop. I'm not trying to break anyone. I just have a lot of money tied up in these. Shiping on the large roo was $75 alone.

I have a lady coming Wed to look. Let me see what she offers if anything and I will get back to you. I want out of the chickens and these are going to have to go. All are well bred birds from breeders here on BYC
Only chickens I have left are my Lavender, blue and black orps and 3 black silkies. I have them in my insulated 8x8 shed with a heater and light. I only have about 12 so should be plenty of room.
If anyone knows a person that needs a hug incubator I have 2 GQF cabinet models that I would like...
I saw them on free cycle. Got the email this morning. I bought 3 and got 2 roos so I have to find one of them a home. If you don't want them made into dinner be careful who you let have them. I had several people wanting them to eat.
I just listed all of the layers I have left on Craig's List...
I found some pullets. So I will have chicks for sale this spring. They are 6th generation Hinks directly through Hink-JC from a friend. $8-10 each + shipping. I also have splits.
I know what you mean about the shipping. The rooster I have pictured cost $78 express shipping from PA to here. Day...
