2nd fuzzy hatched early this a.m. 3rd and last was pipping when I left for work. First hatch for me and 50 per cent on shipped eggs. The brooder box is set up and I will put them all in at lunchtime or this evening when I get home from work. Thanks for asking!!!! Such a miracle. Happy Friday...- NCChickchick

Honestly even with a candler I could not tell much till day 18. Then it was pretty obvious that something was happening in 3, especially no. 4. I never saw any veins. Ever. The eggs were brown and pretty porous. I had 6 shipped buff orp eggs from AL to NC. 3 made it to lockdown and only one so...- NCChickchick

I have 5 eggs due Friday the 13th, too! Buff Orpingtons. They were shipped eggs so they've been wonky the whole time. I pulled a quitter night before last. May I jump in? I set 6 buff orp eggs in my new Brinsea mini. We are due on Friday the 13th. Yay. ;(. Candled tonight with my totally inadequate flashlight and I saw only 2 had some darkness in them. But 2 out of 6 shipped eggs with air sacs that looked wonky as all get out would be good with me...- NCChickchick
