I will have a staggered hatch as well...... Our hens loving to lay eggs on top of each other....... Actually the hen who is broody hatched a year ago. The momma hen had a very close friend who would lay her egg on top of her well. We finally marked them and took out the ones that she had layed...

@MSirrell91 I'm very sorry for your loss. I had a cracked egg once that momma had kicked out so (thinking that it was dead) cracked it open, it was at day 5 and it looked exactly like yours except it had two lumps for its brain. I would also thinks yours would've developed more. Hope all...

My 20 eggs underneath my broody/old fashioned incubator, all have something in them!! This is so exciting!

She is a very small barnyard mix amerucauna who has 20 eggs underneath her! That barely fit.lol!
