Right! I'm holding my breathe!! Last time when I went to move them to the hatcher on day 18, 1 was already pipped! Day 19 is 1/2 over and notta! Mine usually hatch early, which I know means my temp is too high, but they hatch well and are healthy, so I choose to not change it. Lol

I would like to join this thread. I have a broody who's 10 days in already. So tomorrow she will be more than halfway to those cute little chicks hatching.

She is a very small barnyard mix amerucauna who has 20 eggs underneath her! That barely fit.lol!

Im into day ten now, I'm a bit of a candlerholic so I've got my girlfriend to hide the torch til day 14. They all look developing but not as far along as other photos, I guess they want to take their time.

I don't know ow how to change mine. It cooks them okay it seems, so would rather that than me messing with it and screwing it up

Baby #2 hatched while I was out.. one with a good size pip.... so far so good.....

I have 3 dozen eggs I put in the incubator on April 6, so due to hatch April 27. I got them locally, one dozen black copper Marans, one dozen Rhode island reds and 1 dozen Buff orphingtons. I really hope they hatch. I haven't had too much trouble so far just a lot of worry and second guessing. I have the cheap incubator with no fan or turner. I seem to get the temp and humidity right back up after I open it to turn them 3 times a day.
