My rooster has started molting, his tail has disappeared.

Drew is still an odd one, but I'm still going with Drew. The wattles just came in too early for a pullet, though he's still behind the other males his age. I've got some almost 9 week old leghorn pullets, and though they have decent sized combs, no wattles at all yet.

I searched in my area for homes for sale (not going to post city here, but southwestern NC) but there's not a whole lot out there that's not way overpriced! Many lots for sale though.

What's your opinion on the calcium overload issue when feeding layer to roosters and non layers? I assume you feed chick feed to your babies til laying age...

I love the feeder! I hate how much feed is wasted. Do you feed layer, and pellets or crumbles?

Looks the older one is always stretching out! I've found a home for my last LF cockerel. I decided I didn't need one at all this year. So I'll be down to 1 OEGB cockerel and the hens and pullets.

Nice! I was afraid Atlas's girls were aging out of laying.

Its definitely hard to rehome, but sometimes necessary. Sad to see the end of Atlas's male line though.
