    Sounds like a wonderful 4th of July (although the 4th is not exactly any of my critters favorite holiday), but at least people will probably be eating hot dogs and hamburgers (not turkeys).

    @R2elk, probably just a question of semantics, there are an astounding number of "breeds of dogs" but they are all the same species (canis lupus familiaris). Perhaps she was using the word breed in that sense when she should have used variety to be correct with the APA. At a dog show, the word...
