well, Bridget has her new family, 2 little BBB's from the feed store... I got the smallest ones, so they would look more like hatchlings, but they are about half fledged, don't know how old they are... They spent the night with her and this morning she has her wings spread over them and is making purring noises... Now I just have to make sure they are able to eat and drink. I put an auto-waterer right outside the dog kennel nest and food in a rubber frisbee inside. I guess I'll see how they do for the next 2 or 3 days... If they do ok, I have some heritage poults reserved for a couple weeks from now (from 3 different sources), so may soon be over run with turkeys! One of the people I am buying from doesn't like to let them go until 2 weeks old, and he has hatchlings born yesterday...
