Okay, I managed to make a small hole in the membrane to give it air. I thought I'd give it overnight to see if it made progress and it hasn't... Do I need to intervene properly now or do you think it may still make it out on its own?

I've been searching the forum and it seems that if the membrane is white then that's a problem? Not yellowish? Should I still be worried? It's weird cos the other eggs when I saw the membrane it looked white and they hatched fine... I'm very confused Anyone have any information/advice?

Right, turns out there was a pip but not up where the air cell is where I expected. There is a piece of shell off but the membrane is yellowish, do I need to help it now? It is still pushing there but I'm not sure if it'll be able to do it.

Well, we went to Homebase and got a few things. They didn't have any heat lamps, so we got another desk lamp since that seems to have worked okay for us so far! Towel in the bottom, thermometer for now but will probably move back into incubator soon, mini waterer and cuddly toy duck Here it is...
