@Hannahnic14, according to your photos above, the eggs don't seem to be all the same age. Egg 8 has no development. You can discard it. Egg 6 looks underdeveloped compared to the others, but might've just been put under the broody later than the rest. So keep it under her. I'd estimate most...

I would recommend leaving her completely alone. Any other company could stress her out, and they could attack her or her eggs - with a chance of breaking the eggs and killing the chicks inside. As @NatJ has mentioned. My internet was acting up so I couldn't use BYC for the past hour or so.

Good idea. That would've stressed her out even more. That's a great little coop! Plenty of space for her to roam around (: May I ask how you built that, and with what materials? Did you use a building plan?

Makes sense! That' s a great idea. While moving her, try to be as careful as possible, and maybe do it at night so she doesn't really see what's happening. You can do it anytime, as soon as you finish that coop and secure it from any possible predators. I think the earlier the better.

Great! And I would make sure she's in a quiet room. Loud noise and/or constant "checking on her" could scare her off the nest. But with a silkie, that probably won't happen (: They're such persistent little mothers ❤️

Normal, but she still needs exercise daily and access to food and water 24/7. Broody hens normally get off the nest 1-2 times daily. She can be off the nest for an hour max, and the eggs will be fine. When she gets off the nest, let her outside or something so she can get her exercise...

Cool! Please keep us updated! :pop:wee (I'm not an expert, but here's my guess:)) I think the eggs look no younger than a week. Maybe a week and a half? Try asking the previous owner when they put the eggs under her. That's how you'll know for sure (if they remember, of course). Good luck ❤️...
