    It would probably be best to have a northern and southern one unless you plan on having it in the central part of the state. Our state is so stinkin' long it takes a long time to get from one end to the other!

    Hello!!! I live in west central Illinois about 35 miles north of Quincy in Hancock county. There seems to be several others from this general area, too. *waves* Its good to know there are other chicken enthusiasts nearby.
