"I don't know how," he told her.

"No. They don't," Thorne kicked at the ground.

"But nobodies' paying any attention to me," Thorne pouted.

"Yup, we're all fine," Thorne assured her.

Thorne was standing awkwardly in the river, while the other horses splashed and played.

(Okay. I did know about Storm. I have no clue why I stopped getting notified though.)

Thorne ignored him, and led the herd down to the water.

"Hey now. What's that for?" Thorne said. "I'm just not used to people paying this much attention to me."

Thorne watched her go, then turned around and said, "Okay. I'm in charge, so. Um. Let's go to the river. I guess. If you want to."

Thorne was shocked. She was leaving him in charge of the herd! Well, him and Rye. "Okay," He said. Then he went to find Rye.

Thorne looked around. "Maybe you could leave somebody in charge while you go? Or send someone else to find him?"

"But Sky," Thorne said, "You can't just leave the herd. We need you."
