LOVE his birds! I bought several sets of fertile eggs from him last year and her are some of my hens! Golden Laced Orp, and Millie Fleur Leghorn, and Speckled Sussex, ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!!

Here are some of the Blue and Golden Laced Orp I hatched from Papa Brooders eggs. I ordered 6 eggs, he sent 8, I had 6 hatch!!! I think 4 or 5 are boys so 1 or 2 girls. They are 68 days old in these photos.

Here are the 5 MFL chicks 3 days old. Does color mean boy or girl? 2 are lighter color and 3 are darker color.

Here are 4 Speckled Sussex. Is the one without stripes and lighter color mean its a boy or girl? It looks different than the other 3.......

Sorry about the CL but yeah for Brahma, I got local Brahma and I only got 7 out of 14 to hatch so I don't think they are naturally hearty, you just got lucky! :-) I had 57 eggs this hatch and they began to hatch today. About 20 are from papa and the FIRST two to hatch out of 3 different...

Just wanted to let you know that I got SFH from another breeder on BYC and the air cells had extremely bad saddles. But 11 out of 19 hatched anyway and I laid them on their side at day 18, just wanted to let you know not to be discouraged by bad air cells, they still do hatch! :-)

I have ordered lots of Brinsea and I know I have to wait a week every time, I am in CA also. Sorry to hear about your sons chicken. What kind of dog do you have? I am always curious to know the bird eating breeds.

Thank you! Yes that is a great way to look at it which I had not thought about. I ordered: 7 Millie Fleur Leghorn 8 Speckled Sussex 6 Gold/Blue Laced Orp That is 21 eggs that I paid for, and 20 of them are developing! 7 were extras. I am only half way through incubation at day 12 today...

OK day 10 update almost half way there! I am SO THRILLED with Papa Brooder eggs so far! Here are the progress numbers so far which is about 71% with 11 more days to go! 6/9 Millie Fleur Leghorn 8/11 Speckled Sussex 6/8 Gold/Blue Laced Orp YAH since these are $20 an egg!!! SO EGG CITED...

I have 9 milli fleur leghorns, 11 speckled Sussex, & 8 gold and blue laced orphington all from Papa Bruder then from other breeders I have wellsummer, f1 and f2 olive egger eggs

I sure will! I was so nervous to spend $20 an egg but it looks like 5-6 out of the 8 golden and blue laced orphington eggs are developing so far at day 7 so I'm really excited about that

I just did my 7 day candle check. So far papas eggs look good, think I still have 23-25 eggs going out of 28 I started with. :-) Ill keep updates going!
