I did try my hand crank nut chopper. I always had to be patient when grinding 2 cups of nuts to fill the catch base; it did the job though! A nice size crumble with very few fines.
Good for very small jobs.
If only it was that easy!!!!

Arielle, you may want to get a meat grinder, the one that is screw fed. An electric one with a hopper may be able to process a large quantity.
Just a thought.

My delivery guy is actually the mill owner; he runs a small facility which can only produce a few lines of grains commercially as well as custom mixes. Having said that,

Does anyone crumble their pellets??? I know this is what the commercial feed companies do to make the crumbles; I just would like to know how to change the pellets to crumbles and see if my birds will eat it more. Thanks.
