Thanks! Actually, I think Olive lays little white eggs. It's hard to tell sometimes who lays what. And Persephone is greyer, so I think she's a Cuckoo Marans. Thanks for your help!
Olive is the one you think is an ee, Persephone is the cuckoo marans, the buff is Carmella, and the wyandotte is Minerva. Thanks for your help!
Oh, and Rene is the RIR you can barely see behind Carmella. Do you know what color eggs wyandottes, orpingtons, rirs, and ees lay?
Yes, I did know that one from where they originally came from. I also have a gold laced wyandotte not visible in the image and an RIR. What about the one in front?
She's actually fairly small. I looked up of pics of Orpingtons and she doesn't seem nearly as big. I'll try to ger a better pic with a size comparison. The barred one, the EE, and the buff all hatched in the last few days in July and started laying last week (except the buff).
Thanks! Her name is Gryphon. The Buff is Carmella and the bantam is Olive. Oh, and the Barred Rock is Persephone. Gryphon, Persephone, and Carmella all hatched at the end of July last year. Persephone and Gryphon started laying last week, and there was a new egg today that may have been Carmella's.
The red and the one in the last pic both lay greenish blue eggs. The orange has yet to lay. So... Easter Egger, Buff Orpington and a bantam Wellsummer?
Well, one of them is red, but darker red than my RIR with some black speckles, fluffy cheeks, and a smaller comb.
The other one is pretty much this solid orange-gold color with a tint bit of black on the tail tip and a tiny comb. She is slimmer than the others, but not unhealthily so.
I'm not so great at species yet...could someone help me out?
This is not a pic of my pullet, mine is greyer and has less comb. The distinction between black and white is less prominent.
These are two of my pullets. The red has fluffy cheeks and has just started laying! The orange is the same...
