    How are your summer/winter temps? Here it gets hot in the summer and rarely gets below freezing in the winter. Pomegranate trees are very hardy; I have never watered or fertilized mine and they still produce fruit.

    I have pomergranate trees, and my chickens free range underneath them. They eat the pomergranates that fall to the ground all the time. They love them, and I love it because it makes the feed bill smaller.
