Can chickens eat Pomagranits?????

I have pomergranate trees, and my chickens free range underneath them. They eat the pomergranates that fall to the ground all the time. They love them, and I love it because it makes the feed bill smaller.

I live on the family ranch, and these pomergranate trees have been here ever since I can remember.

I have seen the small starter pomergranate trees at plant nurseries from time to time.

How are your summer/winter temps? Here it gets hot in the summer and rarely gets below freezing in the winter.

Pomegranate trees are very hardy; I have never watered or fertilized mine and they still produce fruit.

Summers can get as hot as 98 or so and the winters are usually mild but sometime do go below freezing. Sometimes as low as 17 or so. But that is pretty rare.
