Ya mine usually hatch on day 19

4 out of 13 eggs some died after they internally piped and one of e ones that hatched yesterday passed this morning and yet it was perfectly fine when I checked on him but I geuss nature has taken its toll but it was a pretty sucky hatch of two girls and 1 boy

That can actually kill them someone said that they opened the incubator to take out the eggs that hatched and then they never piped or ones that did pip they didn't hatch but who knows I could be wrong

Know I just have been wanting silkies don't have them yet I was just wanting to get me about he same age as these ones so they can be raised together so that maybe they won't be so mean to the silkies

Yes I have heard it can kill them at such a yong age so I'm not taking any chances

There is 8 eggs in the bator there was 14 but 1 got caught in the egg turner 3 were unfertile and one died early so I am going to try and hatch out as many of them 8 as possible the rest of them are all doing good and I want to get a few silkies so ey aren't going to be in there very long

It's a thirty gallon tub with a board there to hold the heat lamp with a strap to hold the board from falling down with the heat lamp on from falling on the chicks

U need a spray bottle like people use with there cats to keep the, from clawing the furniture

Yes mine are hatching on my first hatch about 6 months ago and I take the chicks out and then my mom comes in opens it my dad comes in opens it my sister comes in opens it it's like u can see them when they hatch
