So, the feathers are coming in on the chick, and I'm pretty sure she's not a frizzle. However, her sister's wing feathers are more developed and curve outward rather than straight. If I had to guess which one was the frizzle, if one is, I would guess her. I attached pictures of both
Apart from the feathered legs, the chick looks exactly like the others. However, I have not held it yet and might have missed something. Earlier I noticed that the youngest (and smallest-possibly bantam) also has feathered legs, so I may be forced to conclude that she is not a frizzle, although...
Thanks. We bought them from a farm (with separate pens for different breeds) and the person there said it MIGHT be a frizzle, they weren't sure. But if you think there is a possibility, then that sounds good to me!
Our broody hens' eggs hatched yesterday. We had 7 OE eggs and 2 EE, one of which is possibly a frizzle. My question is, does feathered legs suggest that chick is an EE frizzle? Thank you
