I was able to tell within the first couple of weeks that mine was a frizzle. It started showing it's cute lil frizzle feathers as soon as it lost it's soft down.
Apart from the feathered legs, the chick looks exactly like the others. However, I have not held it yet and might have missed something. Earlier I noticed that the youngest (and smallest-possibly bantam) also has feathered legs, so I may be forced to conclude that she is not a frizzle, although I will check for a curled wing and frizzled feathers in a few weeks.Sometimes you can tell by a curled wing.
