Thanks! I’ll try that brand. The one I found last time was a flock party one and it just sat there until it got buried in shaving from crazy dust bath parties they were having.
I suppose as those three are all Araucana hybrids. The difference would be the bluebell is specifically araucana/leghorn so they only lay blue and have higher production. From everything I’ve read seems like the more active tendency may come from the leghorn side hence the reason I differentiated.
I thought that would be easier on her as well. Just trying to figure out how to do it inside the same space, they pop around in there like little popcorn balls bouncing about so it would have to be floor to ceiling. Trying to figure out how to fit a separate entertainment area and food and water...
They have dots drawn on a board on the side, two mirrors, and a roosting bar type thing. We tried a small pecking block but they weren’t interested. Any other suggestions for activities to add?
We have never had chicks before but decided to start down this rabbit hole. We got 6 chicks three weeks ago, 2 lavender orpingtons, 2 easter eggers and 2 silkies. They are all pretty calm breeds. We think one of the silkies may be a rooster as their feathers are coming in differently but only...
