Thanks guys. We will miss her a lot. And to make things a little worse, her cagemate inexplicably died yesterday. She showed no symptoms at all. We are selling our rat supplies. This has been far too traumatizing.

We have been giving her small doses of the antibiotic and aspirin. We can't tell if she is really improving or not. This is so frustrating! I just hope she is getting enough pain killer to get a little relief.

Ok guys! Roxy is between 6 and 7 oz. Each capsule has 250 grams of amoxicillin in it. What do I do? Lol. The rat guide says 2cc per pound, but how do I convert that to apply to a powder form?

She is showing no improvement Today I will be looking for an exotic vet in our area and we will be taking her in on Monday or Tuesday. From what I understand, she will not get better without RX meds.

Hmmmm... Well it can't possibly be rat poison. Our rats (we have 2) never go outside, and we don't have any rat poison in our home. Also, her cagemate is in perfect health. As for the veggies, I do occasionally feed them scraps from cooking, but they are all store bought and I wash them well...
