I'm so excited I came home and I see 6 chicks with momma. Then I fed all the animals and went to check on her and change bedding cuz she pooped and they were getting in it so in all I have 10 chicks out of the 12 eggs 1 wasn't fertile and the other died at about day 10 or so.

Thanks it was very hard on me. Well she's in the same place as the other broody was but I took the whole nest box which is a 20 galling tub and put it in a wired dog kennel and then I have a I guess it's chicken hard cloth but it looks like window screens just metal all around the whole kennel.

Hello new to this thread.. This is my 2nd time hatching with a broody so I'm a nerves wreck I tried this couple of months ago but 5 days til hatch a snake killed my broody and ate all her eggs but 2 and those 2 didn't make it.
