Flowers squealed at the sudden movement. She stomped her hoof and whinnied, calling her filly back. She still had a long way to go, in the means of motherhood.

Flowers squealed, bared her teeth, and thrust herself between the filly and her sire.

"I'm stronger, yes," she replied, nibbling at his withers.

Flowers raised her head and nickered a greeting to Apache.

/Flowers curled-up around her filly, exhausted.

Flowers scowled in his direction. She had a fight-or-flight instinct, and when the filly had nursed, it had told the young dam that flight was the best response. Flowers lovingly blew into the filly's nostrils, careful not to scare her. She had done enough of that already.

"I'm new at this! Can't you understand that?" Dipping her head down, Flowers nickered to the filly.

"It's wierd, Apache!" She snapped, and flinched as the filly nursed.

Flowers stood still,a waiting the unfamiliar feeling of the foal nursing.

( do you want to play the filly? ) Flowers let out another whinny, this time a desperate one.

Flowers came to a stop near the creek bed. Her coat was stained with sweat and dust. She whinnied hoping Apache would come to her.

Flowers bucked wildly. The mare was so startled that she couldn't think straight.

When the filly nursed, Flowers grew antsy. The unfamiliar feeling at her udder made her kick out blindly, and bolt away.

"And I'll personally take you aside and send you sprawling towards the sky." And with that, the filly was nursing by her dam's side.

"Go away. Let me nurse her. I won't kick her."

"Sorryyy," she mumbled, and got up to her feet.
