Been a super long time since I've posted here. Some nice pictures everybody.
Thought I'd post picture of the 3 I have still from this project. I have a couple pullets last year but I lost them in a cold spell we had here. They lived outside with their mother and we got a lot of rain and cold...
Wow. It looks like all have some buff down that you can see. I'm not sure if it's the photo or not but the black one looks like that to. Your Buff looks identical to mine. I wonder how differently they will look at maturity. Fingers crossed they are all going to mature into something you will...
No, I copied you picture from above and pasted it in my post rather than quoting all the photos. Lol. I was just wondering if I were to hatch something like that little guy if I should hang on him. But, like I said, I'm going to hold as much as I can until I know for sure I will have no need for...
Lynne, I have a question. I this cockerel anything like your Nugget or will this be just another LB Splash once mature? I'm curious as if I hatch one like this and this is something like what Nugget looked like I want to hang on to them.
Tonto was beautiful last fall. I am going to see what I get before I make any cuts from my flock this year. That was a big mistake last year for me. I just wish I was able to get to hatch sooner as you did. But great pics Lynne. Thanks for showing me them!!
Wow, some realy beauties there Lynne. I think I'm in love with the pullets your got to retain especially the Brown Reds and 2nd LB. Lol. And the cockerels look like they will have some good type.
And my first LB of the year just hatched. It's white/ yellow though.
Maybe I'll have some of that luck you have here as well. I know I tell you a lot but Bruce is the heart and sole of the chickens here. Without him things would just be very different and Louie is rather small compared to both Bruce and Smokey.
My Lemon Blue pair I have been hatching from most often, Smokey and Abbie. All of my LB's are from Lynne and hopefully this year I will have some to breed from my own hatching.
Smokey's son Louie.

We are actually all trying for the standard Lemon Blue. W still have a ways to go but we are making progress. My one hen, Lynne is Brown Red, my main rooster, Bruce is also Brown Red but his chest pattern isn't exactly there yet. Georgia, would be nice is she had the lemon on her as she has...
