Metzer charges you upfront. They had thousands of birds available the day I ordered for, and thousands the 3 weeks after, as well as I think 1000+ the week before. The problem comes from no one producing a bird 3/4 as good as the Golden 300 in terms of egg size or quantity.

Part of the reason Im saying that is when I ordered my ducks they had 1000+ available the weeks after and several hundred the week before

If that were the problem they should have told me by Wednesday like they said they would though. It wouldn't have been a surprise. I'm only annoyed because I'm getting pushed behind people who paid after me

They told me they had a bad hatch, and I was bumped back because the next 3 weeks were already sold... even though I paid a month before my ship date. But I got them to bump it up a week because I only have about 4 weeks of brooder time at that point
