You may need to open it some more.. same as before. If you see blood, stop, if its still chewing and active leave it be... WVduckchick is around and she's awesome! Best of luck and I hope to see a fluffy chick in the morning! :fl
:frow
That's ok.. as long as its still chewing its right where it needs to be... just keep checkin on it and when you feel ok doing it, peal some shell back.
And if you see anything that worries you, snap a pic and post it and ask away..
Your very welcome!
You're welcome too..:)
Deffinetly keep us posted and don't hesitate to ask questions or just hang out and chat if it starts makin ya nuts.. It always makes me nuts. :gig
None of us ever hope to.. but its good to be able to! :love
Ok.. :lau much better! :D
I think at this point its best to watch and wait..
It can be difficult at best sometimes to know when to help more and when to wait. Paitence is your best friend at this point!;)
Thats a little high but I dont think its too bad... it should be closer to 101 but not higher than 102. Turn it down a little and watch it. Keep the membrane moist. Give it 30 mins or so and try peeling a tiny bit more back.
Looks great! The membrane isnt too brown and the beak is right there , so it can breath well.. i meant to tell you to stop if you saw any bleeds, you did perfect! :highfive:
Ok, now what is the humidity level?
Also the temp..
Ok. Thats really good. No more chewing is a good indication that its fully absorbed the yolk..
Yes, take it out long enough to chip some shell away so you can see whats goin on in there, lay it on a soft cloth so there's less chance of dropping it. Dont let it get cool tho and be sure to close...
What is the humidity at?
You can gently peal back some egg shell and apply a bit of coconut oil or Neosporin and see if there are any veins showing in the membrane..
Just go slow.. chip it away in small pieces.
