Thats a little high but I dont think its too bad... it should be closer to 101 but not higher than 102. Turn it down a little and watch it. Keep the membrane moist. Give it 30 mins or so and try peeling a tiny bit more back.

I dont have any experience with egg bound hens. Try tagging casportpony.

Ok.. much better!
I think at this point its best to watch and wait..
It can be difficult at best sometimes to know when to help more and when to wait. Paitence is your best friend at this point!
