That's ok.. as long as its still chewing its right where it needs to be... just keep checkin on it and when you feel ok doing it, peal some shell back.
And if you see anything that worries you, snap a pic and post it and ask away..

The chick seems more active but no progress on shell at all

You may need to open it some more.. same as before. If you see blood, stop, if its still chewing and active leave it be... WVduckchick is around and she's awesome! Best of luck and I hope to see a fluffy chick in the morning!

I can't say for sure since its pipped since it pipped on the bottom side but the eggs been chirping and bouncing back and forth since midnight last night i noticed the pip 6 hrs ago so somewhere between 6 and 20 hrs ago
