Interesting way to look at it.
Do most of you have to actually take your own rubbish to the dump, then? I'm not accustomed to the ways of the country. Wouldn't keeping waste for a few months before driving it off result in some nasties? Clue me in.
I honestly can't remember the last time we even used glass.
Most things we buy nowadays are plastic - most can be recycled, what can't either finds a use in the kitchen or the chicken coop.

I'm so used to the truck coming every Tuesday morning to empty the bins, while some of you take it yourself! Wow, that must be different.

Whenever I have my hands on a clean container or plastic bag, I can't seem to bring myself to put it in the bin.
Over here, our recycling bin is usually fuller than the blue one.
