i took my chicks to a poultry breeder today and he vent sexed them. the ones without the tail feathers sure were boys!! they were so nice they took them from me and they gave me a 3 week old black australorp and a 4 week old golden laced wyandotte! Yay thank goodness I no longer have roosters!

oh my goodness! The ones with tail feathers I feel like are girls however the ones without the tail feathers are lighter in color and generally smaller so this doesnt seem to make much sense but I feel like they are totally different and some are definitely girls and some are boys I just dont...

They are three weeks old however I just thought that it was so odd that I purchased them all at the same time and some have tail feathers and some do not!

What are the differences in these two bottoms of my chickens? I have six dark brahmas. Three have tail feathers and three have none. Are some roosters? I am so confused!! Please Help!
