Wow, a lot happens when one is gone for a few days! Out of 32 eggs that made it to lockdown, 30 of them hatched!! I'm very pleased with my results! Will try to get pictures up later! Congrats to everyone else who has chicks hatching!

Well today has been a very eventful day, so far! Seven more chicks have hatched, and we have 14 pips!! Crazy!

It hatched!!! Looks like a GLW cross with the black around his eyes. We now have a chick and 2 pips! Can't wait till they start hatching...lol I may not get any sleep tonight!

There are now 2 pips, and the first one got a little bigger...started chirping a little bit....Maybe we'll get to see some zipping action going on later!!

Yes I've had to force myself to do other things rather than staring at the incubator. This was my solution

Woke up this morning and checked the bator. I've got my first pip!

This is my first run with my genesis 1588, and I don't have any other thermometers/hygrometers in there. I decided to let it run on it's own once, and if it does well, then I'm just gonna trust it! I'm on day 17, and so far, it's been doing fine.

Yes, I love white eggs!

Yes, I've been incubating for just over a year, this is my 5th hatch. It's just very tempting to candle my one white egg every few days....

It's okay, I think most of us candle some on days that we're not supposed to. It's still just as exciting when you've done it a dozen times!!

Lol. Now how did that happen?? I candled again today (day 14) and tossed 2 eggs, so now we've got 32 in there. Lockdown in 4 days!!
