I love research/experiments/proof..be it from real "regular" people or "doctors".
I read as much as possible and I change my signature up all the time with different "good reads".
You should/could start a list with user name/"numbers"??
Overtime someone adds their "numbers" you could add it to your list.
Then one day..once you have a long list post it as a picture?!?
I don't measure the feed..I just make it and pour it out to them.
Somedays I may pour a little more and some days a little less.
They get to free range daily for "stuff" too.
I average 6 to 8 eggs a day. ( I have actually been keep daily track of eggs since the beginning and will "publish" them...
I need to read back and catch up.
If it makes any difference I can not compare to regular dry feed because I have always feed mine FF started at day one.
did they eat it?
if so then I would say not too think.
It's really just a matter of personal preference...how thick or soupy YOU want it.
Some may say it is easier to pour out,,,rather then scooping out.
I use ice cube trays for the first few days set up just like this^^^
After a couple of days, I switch to a heavy glass dish...so they don't tip it over.
I start my chicks on fermented feed....
My chicks get a more soupy version for the first couple of days.
I have never been able to get...
expect them to maybe not eat?
Just kidding..I would try it before you leave to make sure they eat, although I'm sure if they get hungry enough they will eat anything.
I haven't fed mine yogurt BUT a LOT of people do.
It is not possible for you to get 14 eggs a day form 9 or how ever many chickens...
I feel sorry for the people that actually believe it.
