My East Indie Adventures still continues. I have 6 eggs still in the incubator. 4 showed solid movement on day 20, one still has strong veins but not seen much movement in it in a few days, the last looks like it has receding veins happening. Zion and Houdini are doing great. They love cuddling...

So I tried to vent sex. I am certain I have one Drake. The other I think is a female. Doesn’t matter so much what they are right now other than too cute for their own good. This is one of their favorite spots.

So I have the Evil Kanevals of ducklings. They keep trying to jump up on things then off them. One tried to jump onto the dog’s nose! They follow me around their brooder if I put them in it peeping madly at me. I can at least tell them apart for now. Don’t have names yet for them. This one...

Ducklings first bath time. Was cute. It took them falling over in the water to figure out how fun it could be. They are currently hiding in my hair as if it is mommy duck feathers. Itis pretty precious.

It is a glob that is glued the wing to her body. Feel so bad for her. She’s the only one who had this type of drying of the membrane. Took your advice and am doing small bits of it with either coconut oil or a warm sponge. Tiny bits have loosened.

Baby from egg six kicked out of his cup. The peeps from baby 3 really got it worked up.

Three made it to actually hatch egg 4 died in shell. But as I am going to bed three little dark ducklings are squirming out of shells and should be there in the morning!

Eggs have been internally pipped for 24 hours. I put a safety hole into the eggs as no external pips have happened yet. One egg even hadn’t had any noticeable movement since last night. Egg number two even was peeping at me.

Now starts the nail biting waiting. They are still pecking away but now pips yet. Gah!

I had my first internal pip. Egglet number three was pecking at the shell today when I got home from work. I have 3 drawdowns on the 4 eggs that look really nice.

It’s dancing between 54-65% in the Hatcher. Two eggs have started the drawdown, with a third I think heading that way. So hard to be patient. But 4 of the eggs in the Hatcher are showing movement along the air cell. Looks like they are working themselves into position still. I can’t ever tell...

The waiting has begun. Lockdown is likely the most nerve wrecking part of this. I saw egg two rock a bit tonight. I am seeing bits of shadows on the edges of the air cell it’s only a matter of time before the little ones manage to pip.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I will let you know anything I can. Just added water and upped the humidity.

Day 23- Tonight we go into lockdown. I have some good movement in 3 of the 4 eggs I know are still kicking. Egg one I think died over the weekend. The last egg is hard to tell because it’s got lots of speckled dark grey spots. But it moves all the same. Egg2 Egg3 Egg4 Egg6 With luck there...
