I usually let my unhatched eggs sit in the incubator until DAY 24, unless I am certain they are not viable.😊

Usually up to 24 hours from PIP to ZIP. If you can see the chick's beak, it may appear to be smacking it's beak, this means it is still absorbing the yolk and making itself ready for the next step. 🙂

Great! Brinsea are incredibly reliable in my experience. Always good to have a back up thermometer to make sure though.😊

Yes! It’s just about perfect. As others have stated, humidity will go up as the eggs hatch and then you really won’t need to add any more water at that point.

Just remember the temperature will drop temporarily when you open the incubator, just do it quickly.😊

I’m thinking the old-fashioned thermometer that you put under your tongue to check your temperature. Give the fish tank one a try!

What is the brand of your outside thermometer? Brinsea tend to be quite accurate and I would trust the Brinsea over the outside one, especially if it was not calibrated before you started your hatch. Do you have a non-digital thermometer at home that you could put in and see if it is the same?

Which incubator do you have? Is your extra thermometer calibrated? Do you have another thermometer you can try? You can even try a non digital human thermometer, these tend to be very accurate

You do not need to raise the temperature. Otherwise, sounds like you’ve got it covered! Good luck with the hatch.❤️
