    I've been gone too long to read all the 200+posts, I hope everyone has been doing well. My garden is full of weeds, my chickens are doing great, will be incubating some eggs next week to get some birds for spring.

    I ordered two black velvet gooseberry (Red ones) plant earlier during the winter and they shipped this spring, they are establishing well, I have never eaten gooseberry or had their jelly but had read on them and hoping when they start to bear fruits I will like them.

    It has been raining on and off here but I did manage to go weed around the wild berries at least I weeded well around 3 plants, I plan on weeding around the more established bushes slowly. The ground being wet makes it easier then I will spread the cow manure and straw once cleared. I hope...
