Really impressed with the boots on the d'Uccles. Very nice for hatchery stock :) The Barnvelders are VERY active and healthy and HUGE. The Cubalayas seem to have had a harder start, lots of poopy butts and not as active as the other chicks. But with a little diligence, all 25 are still doing...

Today, I received my second order of chicks from Ideal so far this spring (might place a 3rd yet as well), great results again. It was in the 30s for a high, single digits for a low, and all 25 still made it. They were a bit chilled, so I'm not going to say for sure that they'll thrive, but...
